Hello folks,

Months after “Playing the Silence”, let’s have a short back-view.

Playing the Silence (Fabulas Ater II) has been listened by many people, but received only 7 critics yet. I’m not disappointed… but people are still writing so many beautiful things about “Fabulas Ater”, and playing the silence is… well…. ignored.

Now, I’m working on “FAR”, my next album on Jamendo. The atmosphere of this one will be really “spatial”, I mean with some synth, bells, strings, rare drums. I am very inspired by the work of Clint Mansell (mainly Moon, Smoking Aces and The Fountain), and Cliff Martinez on Solaris.

Far surely will be the last score i’ll put on jamendo for the next 2 years, because in october i’ll start my Sound Designer formation.

I haven’t post anything for a long time. I’m sorry, but… nothing happens to me since my last post. I have some difficulties to manage free-time (friends, games…), school-time (go to school, homeworks…), and scoring time (for Fabulas Ater 2, and the Dofus Fan OST 3).

I spend all my free time on games(Titan Quest/CoD4/GTA IV and F.E.A.R.2), on the web (msn, blogs, forums), so I think I’m screwing up. I have no inspiration at the moment, really. I have some ideas, but really hard to rise up on Cubase. So… the laziness, stronger than the ideas, I do nothing.

But, this morning, a lil’ voice on my head shout “ENOUGHT” (yeah with the caps lock T_T), sooooooo… I think I’ll be more productive on the next days. Lzn is back. I hope.

Fabulas Ater was my first album on Jamendo. I’m allways surprised by all the comments I received about it. Some people really like it, eventhough my stuff was really cheap while I scored the musics.

Today, I’m receiving some mail from peoples who are following me, asking for some “re-orchestration” (I’m not english native-speaker, so I hope you’ll understand the idea) of Fabulas Ater, with my new computer, VSTs, etc.
These people will surely be glad : Yes, i’m re-orchestrating Fabulas Ater. I have also composed a lot of new music, and I’ll put the both stuff in my next CD.

I’ve just finished the mixing of the new “Hell’s Eden” track !

This morning, I spend hours for listening to some well-knowed composers who scored a lot of cinema trailers’s music.

One of them you must know is X-Ray DOG, the most famous I think, so I won’t describe him and his music.

I found, thanks to google and Wikipedia, others name like Globus Music. You can listen what they does at : http://www.globusmusic.com/
I like the music, eventhough I really don’t like the songs with the man voice. The music is really good, but I hate his voice. Sorry man !! :$

The second band I found is “Immediate Music” (http://www.immediatemusic.com/core/browse.cfm). I’m glad I can ear romantic/comedy music style, and not only Epic/choir/orchestral. I really like the diversity of tracks, go check it out ^^

Finally, I fell on ES Posthumous website (http://www.esposthumus.com/), and fell in love.
Really, the style is similar as the X-Ray Dog one. A great thing !

I’m hoping the 3 CDs will be my x-mas presents. Ok Santa ? :p

This is my first step on Jamendo/blog. I’m glad the structure of this blog is a Wordpress-like, I think I’ll be able to manage it :p

I will mainly use my blog to tell a lil’ more about my work on music, my impression on other artist’s works, maybe I’ll tell a little about my life, my studies, my passions…
